PEOPLE’S BIODIVERSITY REGISTER (Biodiversity Assessment)
iREBEL is working in collaboration with the Biodiversity Management Committee of Ketugram II Panchayet Samiti and is working on preparation of Peoples Biodiversity Register (PBR) for the Ketugram II Development Block of Burdwan District, which encompasses 12 villages within an area of over 35 square km. The Ketugram II Panchayet has seven Gram panchayets and each of will have its own PBR.
We have recently completed the People's Biodiversity Register of 1 Gram Panchayet - Nabagram Gram Panchayet. Work on PBR of the other Gram Panchayets will be initiated as soon as possible.
